How can I integrate my new blog with this one? Can I run a WordPress blog on a Drupal site? What should I do when my husband’s blog outranks mine on Technorati?
These are the dilemmas that require the help of the….
On the strength of his winning answers to these questions and more during tonight’s Vancouver blogger meetup, I am appointing Boris Mann as the first official blog therapist.
Do YOU have a question for the blog therapist? Post it as a comment here…or post it to your blog, and include this technorati tag:
<a href=”http://technorati.com/tag/boris+mann” rel=”tag”>boris mann</a>
Consider this an experiment in tag-hacking and April foolery as well as a chance for your own blog therapy: I’m betting that your Boris Mann-tagged post will show up here. And your questions will definitely show up on the new Boris Mann Technorati page.
you can’t run a wordpress blog on a drupal site per se. but you could run both drupal and wordpress on the same domain or server potentially. depends what you are trying to do exactly. askin’ boris is a great idea… i’m sure he’ll help lots. great to meet you guys last night. 🙂

Could we reduce and make more manageable the number of blog postings if we pass a law banning the posting of blog entries where the main subject of the posting is blogs? And if such a thing came to be, would Bloglines go out of business? This question has rendered me sleepless for quite some time.

OK, I played with tags some more. Firstly, I am no fan of the “suggested” Technorati tags of pointing to their tag collection page. All you need to do is have rel=”tag”, you don’t actually need to link to the Technorati page…which is one of the reasons I haven’t been using tags.
So, rather than linking to the tag page for my name, the tag would use bmannconsulting.com as the href, use rel=”tag”, and have my name in the anchor. I’ve done that for the two BT posts.
I’m also going to suggest to link to domain blogtherapist.com with the tag blogtherapist when submitting a question, and then answers can be submitted by linking back to the original post. So, this post I used the tag “integrating multiple blogs”, and the second I called “blogging about blogging”. Make sense? Probably needs a face-to-face and some time for Technorati to crawl my updated posts for it to work.
